A második nap során a 2010-ben vörösiszap-katasztrófa által sújtott Devecserbe, egy szomszédos városba látogattak el a résztvevők, ahol két projektbe nyerhetek betekintést:

- az egyik a Máltai Szeretetszolgálat által működtetet Biztos Kezdet Gyerekház, ahol napi négy órában hátrányos helyzetű gyermekekkel és szülőkkel foglalkoznak, segítik, támogatják őket, tanácsokkal látják el a szülőket;

- a másik a helyi önkormányzat által létrehozott kertészetet, ahol különböző zöldségeket, növényeket, energiafákat termesztenek, és ahol sok helyi roma személyt foglalkoztatnak, így biztosítva számukra a megélhetést.

Mindezek mellett a résztvevők meglátogatták a helyi Polgármesteri Hivatalt, betekintést nyerhettek a hivatal életébe.

A konferencián bemutatkozott két helyi fiatal is, akik külföldi EVS önkéntes szolgálaton vettek részt, illetve a résztvevők megismerkedtek a Devecseri Fláre Beás cigányzenekarral is, megalakulásuk körülményeivel, eddigi életutjukkal. A délután program kiértékeléssel folytatódót, ahol a résztvevők elmondták észrevételeiket, beszámoltak élményeikről és tapasztalataikról. Az esti program hagyományos vacsorával fejeződött be, amelynek keretében a résztevők helyi hagyományos ételeket fogyaszthattak, illetve a Fláre Beás cigányzenekar előadásán vehettek részt.
